ABOUT CFA® PROGRAM
The Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) Program is a globally recognized professional certification program for finance and investment professionals, administered and awarded by the American-based CFA Institute. The Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) credential is the most respected and recognized investment management designation in the world. The program focuses on the global investment management profession from the standpoint of a practitioner. It provides the strongest foundation in advanced investment, analysis, and real-world portfolio management skills along with the practical knowledge you need in today’s investment industry. This globally recognized professional certification program is held by over 150,000 investment professionals across 163 countries. In 2018, more than 300,000 candidates took the CFA exam worldwide.

ENTRY REQUIREMENT
To become a CFA Program candidate, you must have
- A valid international travel passport.
- Meet one of the following criteria:
- a. Have a bachelor’s (or equivalent) degree or
- b. Be in the second/final year of a bachelor’s degree program or
- c. Have four years of professional work experience (need not to be investment related) or
- d. A combination of professional work experience and education that totals at least four years.
- Be prepared to take the exams in English.
- Meet the professional conduct admission criteria.
PRACTICAL WORK EXPERIENCE
A minimum of three years (36 months) of experience in evaluating or applying financial, economic, and/or statistical data as part of the investment decision-making process; supervising persons who conduct such activities; or teaching such activities. For a position to qualify, at least 50% of your time should be spent directly involved in the investment decision-making process or producing a work product that informs or adds value to that process. Work must be fulltime and can be earned before, during, or after participation in the CFA Program. Managing your own investments or the investments of your family or friends (without compensation) does not qualify.

EXAM STRUCTURE
The level I exam consists of 180 multiple choice questions:
- • First session (2 hours, 15 minutes): 90 multiple choice questions, covering all topics
- • Second session (2 hours, 15 minutes): 90 multiple choice questions, covering all topics
The level II exam consists of item set questions consisting of 20-30 vignettes with accompanying items
- • The computer-based version will be approximately 4.5 hours
The level III exam consists of 10-15 item set questions and constructed response (essay) questions:
